2Funky Arts are inviting young people, aged 13-19, who are interested in dance, to join their DiverCity Dance project. You'll work towards a big showcase at Peepul Centre, as part of Black History Season.
African Caribbean Dance workshops with Sherenne Williams
Saturdays, 1-3pm, 25 September - 27 November (showcase 27 November)

Creativity and freedom of expression links native roots and modern spirit to create an individual dance style.
Contemporary Dance workshops with Natalie James
Tuesdays, 6-8pm, 28 September – 23 November (showcase 27 November)
@ West End Neighbourhood Centre, Andrewes St, Leicester
Influences from breakin and acrobatics are combined with the fluidity of contemporary dance to create a unique style of movement.
Breakin workshops with Peter Cuvala
Mondays, 5-7pm, 27 September – 22 November (showcase 27 November)
@ Highfields Community Centre, Melbourne Rd, Leicester
A street based dance incorporating intricate body movements, coordination, style and aesthetics.
