Get Involved

If you would like to get involved with Lincolnshire Day and help raise the profile of your county then here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Wear something yellow and bring out the true Yellowbelly in you! Why not get your whole school to don a yellow wig?
  • Wave the Lincolnshire flag
  • Grow something for Lincolnshire! Get together with friends and try planting your own Lincolnshire produce!
  • Sing the Lincolnshire Poacher song in your school assembly!
  • Put together a Lincolnshire Day treasure hunt, using county landmarks
  • Challenge yourself and friends/colleagues to see how far you can get around the county on as little money as possible using public transport!
  • Hold a yellow-themed party - dress in yellow and provide only yellow refreshments!
  • Eat only Lincolnshire derived food - get your school to have a Lincolnshire Day menu!
  • Hold a quiz! Use the example quiz in the download section as a starter for ten!

The possibilities are endless - email in with anything you or your school, work, university is doing to info@lincolnshireday.co.uk and it will be promoted it on the website. Don't forget to send in your pictures for the gallery section too!
