Resilience - is it just about survival?
Wednesday 10 November 2010
Phoenix Square, Leicester
10.30am - 4.00pm
Cultivate presents a seminar workshop with Mark Wright of People-Create looking at how we can make ourselves and our organisations strong and resilient.
In this highly interactive seminar learn what we mean by resilience - and does it have to be a quality just for the bad times?
How do you maintain vision and momentum in adversity?
How can you balance strategic audacity with tactical risk and mitigation?
How will you be ingenious in seeking out fresh solutions in good times and bad?
Resilience can be a state of mind that helps individuals and organisations be nimble, daring and responsive. Where learning through doing and passionate determination can drive everybody forward, whatever the external environment.
Is resilience easier to achieve if we remain outward facing, imaginative and bold? This workshop will explore the idea of personal and organisational resilience as positive leadership attributes and structures.
Mark Wright is a learning design consultant and facilitator who specialises in blending creativity with commercial understanding. He directs a number of key courses for the Cultural Leadership Programme including Leadership Unleashed, Leadership Development Day and Leadership Development Day Plus.
