Re: Dean 'The Art Wizard'

Dean,
Early days and early thoughts on maze ideas, shape and size at the moment not too sure, but its got to be big enough for a good number of people to wonder around, yes sculptural, moveable between sites etc, but Im looking into a structure that can be changed, or the shape of the maze changed to fit sites and complexity.
Im looking to get an ACE grant to research and pursue some thoughts.
Graham.

Re: EMPAF website - new features, networking events and case study publication

Hey
re the comments on Twitter and EMPAF networking, each of the profiles has a place for people to add their twitter account details, which if they do will add their latest tweets to their profiles and the site. I guess then that if you check out other profiles you'll be able to go to their twitter accounts from there and in that sense the site is already a database of accounts.
EMPAF also has a twitter account which I'll be using to update on EMPAF news and events (now that I think I’m starting to get my head around twitter a little better - grin) but if I'm still missing something that twitter can do that we can't on this site can you let me know?
Also, I think these comments are great but suggest to get more conversation going it might be worth putting them on the forum rather than in comments section as it will open it up to more people who might not be that interested in this news item?
Again, if there is a forum heading or something that you think will help get that going more effectively please let me know.
Thank you

What Do You Think About Networking On Empaf Website At The Moment?

Empaf should be all about various participatory artists, organizations, councils or businesses which use community based projects to network together. i.e. share experiences, talk about the pitfalls, working alongside each others organizations and achievements working alongside councils, schools or even projects funded by corporate businesses.
My personal opinion it seems extremely quite on this site especially 'networking' as we should be able to talk freely between each other. I encourage all participants involved in Empaf to talk together similar to a type of twitter experience getting to know each other in small limited messages.
I have already posted articles on this site but it would be nice to even get some type of response even if it's negative.
I do hope we can use this site to really network between each other, their is no such thing as a one man/women business, to make things happen, it's all about 'networking'.
What Do You Think About Networking On Empaf Website At The Moment?

That sounds a great idea! Who has a twitter account on Empaf! If we know where we all are, just think how much easier its gonna be to communicate to each other.

Perhaps Empaf can put a database of Twitter accounts/facebook & etc so it will be easy to find and talk to each other!

Re: EMPAF website - new features, networking events and case study publication

It would be great to build a community on here. For myself I find forums difficult to use (maybe something to do with so many topics being started), so smaller bite sized comments in one feed could be easier to dip into. Perhapsone thing EMPAF could do it create a Twitter list of all EMPAF participants, so we can follow each other on there too.
