Guardian Jobs list ads for volunteer roles free of charge: As of November 2010 any volunteer role advertised on guardianjobs.co.uk is completely free (excludes Trustees, Chairs, Honorary Board Members, Internships and Non-Executive Directors)

Online advertising


  • You can now post your text on Guardian Jobs website free of charge .
  • Text listings remain on the site for 1 month or until the closing date.
  • Text listings for the following roles do not qualify for this free service; Trustees, Board Members, Chairs, Internships and Non-Executive Directors.
  • Please allow up to 48hrs for your listing to appear live on guardian.jobs.co.uk

Print advertising

  • Volunteer adverts appear within Wednesday’s Society supplement
  • All volunteer ads appear as text only, with no logos or images
  • Only unpaid positions will be accepted as volunteer roles within this section
  • There are two sizes available;

4cm (height) x 9.4cm (width) £120.00 (max. 80 words)

8cm (height) x 9.4cm (width) £240.00 (max. 140 words)

The rates quoted are before VAT.

  • Recruitment advertising for the following positions is not carried in the volunteer section; Trustees, Board Members, Chairs, Internships and Non-Executive Directors.
  • The deadline for all volunteers adverts is 10am on Monday
