Project Manager, Participation & Learning

3 Year Fixed Term Contract

Salary – circa £25,000

Curve is Leicester’s state of the art theatre situated in the heart of the City’s Cultural Quarter. We are moving into our 4^th year and, due to continued expansion and a successful funding application, we have a new post in our Artistic Department for a Project Manager specialising in Participation & Learning.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering Curve’s new Young Arts Entrepreneur Programme as well as overseeing a number of other complementary activities, including Curve Young Company, Experience Curve and Little Curve.

The successful applicant will have previously worked with young people, have experience of working in a cultural environment as well as negotiating contracts and project management. Although not essential, experience of working in a receiving or producing theatre would be an advantage.

Educated to degree level or equivalent you will have an up to date knowledge of best practice in young person’s engagement programmes, strong people management skills and a proven expertise in budgeting and financial control.
