Scene and Sound provides information about special performances, or assisted performances, at theatres in the East Midlands and, we hope, beyond. We have invited theatres to put information about these performances on our site to help you decide which shows you may want to visit.

The Scene and Sound website is special. Not only can visitors enlarge the text, choose backgrounds which may be helpful or use screen readers to understand it but we have also translated some of the site into British Sign Language (BSL). Ilan Dwek is our British Sign Language presenter. The next step is to add sound.
