On 14 September 2010, SEE (South East Employers) together with Create Today Tomorrow, held their first Women as Leaders Conference at the University of Winchester. The day comprised keynote speakers, interactive workshops and various stands for delegates to browse. It proved to be very "buzzy" attracting over 80 women from the public, private and voluntary sectors, including EMPAF Partnership member Julie Batten. SEE have not created a webpage about the event which includes copies of key note speeches such as Isabelle Simon-Evans from Radian, gave a talk on "Why Women Lead Well", Claire Chidley on "The 360 Degree Woman" and Caroline Nokes (MP for Romsey and Southampton North) gave us an interesting view on "A Politicians Perspective" . For full details and copies of more of the speeches visit http://www.seemp.co.uk/index/eventsnet/wal92010.htm Modified once, last modified by EMPAF on Mon 8th November, 2010 @ 11:59am | |
