ImPACT (City Arts)
ImPACT is an artist support programme based in Nottinghamshire. It is a partnership project coordinated by City Arts and Next Stage and the Arts in Education officer at Nottinghamshire County Council, and from the consortium of Nottinghamshire Arts Officers, and receives funding from Arts Council England, East Midlands.
ImPACT works to:
Provide artists with a range of information & experiences to enable them to develop professional practices and expand their understanding, which in turn benefits groups working with those artists.
Inspire artists and programmers to develop innovative projects and practice with a variety of client groups.
Support the development of diverse creative industries and artistic endeavour through networking opportunities and databases that are open to everyone.
Build links with other organisations providing training for artists.
Support community based organisations that work with artists by providing them with resources to deliver work professionally.
Training areas have been developed in direct response to the needs of Nottinghamshire artists, which has been researched and gathered at every stage of the planning
