I am a ceramist and mixed media visual artist creating playful work that takes inspiration from a variety of natural structures and my East Asian heritage.

My latest installation Night Bloom is based in Derby Royal hospitals main courtyard and formed from a number of organic sculptures that glow and shimmer with light from dusk, the exhibition is running until march 2013.

I also run community art workshops and specialise in delivering ceramic, mixed media sculpture and workshops themed around East Asian culture and arts.

I have extensive experience of working with vulnerable groups. These include participants based in pupil referral units, children high on the Autism spectrum, and adults who are in or have been through the mental health system.

In 2009 I co founded Forman street studios, based on Forman street Derby. We aim to provide an affordable creative space for a number of local artists.
