I am just about to start an interesting project based on the history of the Walsall Crabtree factory now the home of the Lyndon house hotel. Ill be posting regular updates on the progress of the project and the sculptures that will be made in response to the site..

I’ve just returned from a lovely site visit to Doddington hall near Lincoln, I’ll be exhibiting in the gardens along side over 60 other artists in late summer. Apparently the family still own and live in this fabulous building a bit of a rarity these days!

My next installation at the Derby Royal hospital! I am currently knee deep in the planning stage of a large installation for the main hospital courtyard (next to Laura Bacons wonderful willow sculptures), here’s a picture from my last site visit. ill keep you posted.

last weekend (17th December) was the Erewash winter solstice event @ ilkeston museum, ‘Sparky’ the Mascot is my latest creation for the erewash arts team and has been dressed up in a variety of guises for the festival of lights events. Today has been a day of sorting, packing and making calls (nice change from getting mucky actually) so i welcomed a chance to escape the studio and drive up to see the finished frame for Biome, and i have pictures this time!
