Artist and Educator 

Artist: Emma's practice explores themes such as Experience, Sense of Place, Landscape, Storytelling, Psychogeography, and Memory.
Methods include Sculpture, Installation, Drawing, Live Art, Painting and Book Making.

 She is currently Artist in Residence with Kettering Symphony Orchestra. 

Her studio practice takes place within and outside of her studio. She often takes her studio with her - and her immediate environment becomes her place of work. Her current studio projects are:

 Performing Drawing, Walking and Drawing and Waiting and Drawing

 She is also involved in Collaborative Projects, in particular working with musicians, film makers and dancers at the PLAY sessions in The Core Theatre, Corby.

 Educator:Emma’s approach to artistic education is underpinned by her understanding of social pedagogic principles which focus on providing a holistic educational experience.
She delivers a wide range of bespoke workshops and creative projects in a variety of settings.

Partners include: Royal and Derngate Theatre, Northampton College, Fermyn Woods Contemporary Art, Rutland Youth Service, Schools and Young Peoples’ Groups. She also runs her own private workshops for children, young people and adults.
