Jennifer was born and raised in Lincoln. Creative from a young age it was a move to Scunthorpe, a steel town in North Lincolnshire, that focused her interest in Fine Art. A place where the only cultural stimulus was a newly opened gallery, 20:21, where Jennifer would later work.

From her involvement with the Gifted and Talented Program for Art at school to A-Levels and a Foundation Degree in Art and Design, Jennifer's passion for art was continually reinforced.

Having recently completed the final year of a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at the University of Lincoln Jennifer lives in the city with her husband. In addition to her degree she works as a creative consultant, providing workshop facilitation for people of all ages and abilities and is secretary of the management committee for IMPart, an independant art organisation in Lincoln.

Jennifer has participated in exhibitions both in a curatorial capacity and as a practicing artist, these have included The Gallery at St Martins, Greestone Gallery and The IMPart Annual Exhibition.
