Based in the Charnwood area of Leicestershire, I offer a variety of workshops for all ages to suit all levels of ability:

I come from a long line of creatives.  My mother was a tailor and my maternal grandmother a seamstress and countless aunts and uncles on my paternal side of the familiy who were in the textile industries as framework knitter, weavers and dyers.  Subseqently I have acquired a talent for stitchcrafts!  Currently I run sessions in cafes and museums around the Leicester and Charnwood area, where participants can relax in beautiful surroundings whilst learning a new craft skill.  I also offer one to one tailored private sessions in a variety of stitchcraft skills which I can deliver in peoples own homes.

My background is in healthcare, I am a trained nurse with a certificate in counselling studies.  I have also worked with the homeless in Harlem NYC.  I am interested in 'arts in healthcare' and am in a unique position of being able to combine both my healthcare training with stitchcrafts which I am passionate about.
