National Conference Celebrating Partnership Working 16th October

Join us on Friday 16th October at Derby QUAD for "Passion, Partnerships and Empowering People", a one day national conference exploring and celebrating partnership working and the participatory arts.

Key Speakers:

Starting at 10am (registration begins at 9am) and running till 4.30pm, the event features speeches from community arts project participants and:

· David Cutler, Director of The Baring Foundation

· Eugène van Erven, Senior Lecturer, Utrecht University / Director of International Community Arts Festival

Activities and workshops:

The day offers numerous opportunities to engage in lively discussion, participate in activities in the QUAD Gallery and undertake workshops run by artists and facilitators and covering areas such as:

· Communicating across sectors and challenging preconceptions

· Managing inherited relationships

· Is partnership working a participatory process?

· Archiving in the digital age

· Building a physical model of participatory arts

Pre Conference Social - 15th October QUAD Gallery:

There will be a pre conference social event for delegates, taking place in the QUAD Gallery on the evening of 15th October. It will be an ideal opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a drink and a meal.

Fees:

We aim to bring together delegates from the arts and other sectors who work on the development and delivery of community and participatory arts. Delegate fees are £50 for representatives from organisations and statutory bodies and £25 for individuals. The pre conference social on 15th October is £15 per person.
