Wash Arts is a community-led arts organisation based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. We operate on a not-for-profit basis to develop and co-ordinate creative and cultural opportunities in the borough of Erewash and surrounding areas.

We recruit professional artists who work in collaboration with local agencies, groups and residents of all ages. We prioritise work with those whose access to The Arts and creative experiences may be restricted for whatever reason.

We manage an inclusive programme of events, performances, exhibitions and other creative projects. Our pool of freelance artists work with a wide variety of art-forms including everything from 2D and 3D visual arts and crafts to animation, film, photography, environmental arts, music, dance, creative writing, drama and even contemporary blacksmithing.
