The guide has been developed to help Local Authority Arts Officers to understand the nature of their region, how the arts helps deliver local authorities’ priorities, and who else is working in the same area. The guide is designed to signpost towards people and information who can help officers to deliver their arts programme and the website is managed by the National Association of Local Government Arts Officers (nalgao) having been initially funded by the Arts Council and written with the support of people who’ve worked in similar environments.
