comicWORKS was a project devised by Charnwood Arts in conjunction with the Leicester Comedy Festival, then the largest comedy festival in the United Kingdom. 100s of entries were received both from local artists and cartoonists across the country in three categories - best single image gag, best whole page presentation, and best strip cartoon.
