Working through the joint Charnwood Arts and Charnwood Borough Council 'People Making Music' project London based Grand Union Orchestra brought the magic of their mucial skills to many local musical groups through the winter of 2002. All this hard work came to fruition in a musical treat at Loughborough Town Hall on Friday 19th April.

Featuring music composed and arranged by Tony Haynes with the full power of the Grand Union Orchestra - world class musicians - bringing a delight of contemporary jazz fusions and world music.

It was also a great chance to hear the integrated work of local musicians from Charnwood's wide ranging communities and musical styles.
