Shepshed Community Mosaic project was devised as part of the continuing process of change which has transformed the Hall Croft area of Shepshed.

This is the third public art project in the area undertaken in collaboration with the Shepshed partnership.

Charnwood Arts have worked with mosaic artist Peter Massey and Re-generation Officer Simone Maclean to organise a wide range of workshops across Shepshed to produce the mosaic for Shepshed Library.

The piece was opened in November 2002.
